Job Summary
The Sheldon B. Lubar College of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing to begin in the Fall of 2023.
The primary responsibilities in this position will be to provide high-quality research for publication in top-tier business journal and teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, the selected candidate will contribute to the mission of the Lubar College by engaging with, mentoring, and advising students, by providing service to the area, College, and University through committee support and other shared governance activities, and by enhancing the College’s strong linkages with the business community.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess a Ph.D. in Business majoring in Marketing or related field, or anticipate Ph.D. completion by August 2023. Required qualifications also include proven research skills and a strong interest in teaching courses in Internet Marketing, Retail Management, Marketing Analytics and/or Database Marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include demonstrated evidence of the potential for high-impact research, the capacity for teaching excellence, superb communication skills as evidenced in teaching evaluations, and an ability to work collegially and collaboratively within the university and the business community. Highly preferred qualifications also include a research record of exceptional quality published in top peer-reviewed journals.
